Iquitos is a unique destination, only accessible by plane or boat, as there are no roads connecting it to the outside world. Traveling by plane is by far the most common and convenient option.

There are several daily direct flights between Iquitos and Lima (Peru’s capital), operated by LATAM Airlines, Sky, Star Perú, and Jetsmart. We strongly recommend LATAM Airlines for reliability and comfort.
Additionally, Star Perú offers direct flights from Pucallpa.

International Connections via Lima:

Most international travelers will first arrive in Lima and then take a connecting flight to Iquitos.
