Is it okay to come on my own?

Yes, most of our guests come alone. It is the perfect opportunity to feel free and let go. Our bungalows are private and for single use.

Will I be forced to share personal issues during sessions?

No. Group settings are not group therapy. You will have private sessions with our Shaman and Facilitator. Confidentiality and emotional safety are essential.

I’ve never done yoga or meditation before, will I manage?

Yes. Our yoga and meditation sessions are suitable for all levels, including complete beginners, with simple guided visualizations.

What languages are spoken at Naturalia?

We speak Spanish, English, French, Portuguese, and Italian.

How do I get to the retreat from Iquitos?

We meet you in the center of Iquitos on the morning of your arrival and arrange transport to and from the retreat.

Terms & Conditions

Refund Policy

Deposits: 50% of the deposit is refundable only if the cancellation is made at least 6 weeks before the start date of the retreat.
Postponement: Guests may reschedule their retreat up to one year after the original start date without losing their deposit. The remaining balance may be adjusted to the rates in effect at the time of the rescheduled retreat.
Ayahuasca & Machu Picchu Combined Retreats: Deposits are non-refundable, as they are used to cover advance bookings for flights, hotels, and tours.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations by the Guest: Any cancellation must be communicated in writing via email or WhatsApp. No refunds are issued for cancellations made less than 6 weeks before the start date, or for early departures once the retreat has begun.
Cancellations by Naturalia Retreat Center: If Naturalia Retreat Center cancels or postpones due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., natural disasters, political instability, or force majeure), participants may reschedule within 12 months at no extra charge or receive a full refund of their deposit.
Travel Arrangements: Naturalia Retreat Center is not responsible for flight cancellations, delays, or other travel expenses. Guests are strongly encouraged to purchase travel insurance.

Payment Methods

Deposit: A 50% deposit is required to confirm any retreat booking, except for the Ayahuasca & Machu Picchu combined retreat, which requires a deposit of €1800 (or the equivalent amount in USD). The deposit can be paid by bank transfer or credit/debit card.
Final Balance: The remaining balance may be paid by bank transfer or credit/debit card no later than two (2) weeks before the start date of the retreat. After this deadline, the balance must be paid in cash in Peruvian soles (PEN) upon arrival.
Foreign Currency Cash Payments: If the balance is paid in cash using a foreign currency (other than Peruvian soles), an additional 10% fee will be applied to cover exchange costs incurred by Naturalia Retreat Center.
Bank & Card Fees: Guests are responsible for all bank transfer and card processing fees. Any uncovered fees will be added to the outstanding balance due.

Liability, Health & Safety, and Participant Responsibility

Health Condition: By registering, participants confirm they are in a suitable physical and mental condition to join activities (jungle walks, yoga, meditation, traditional ceremonies) and must inform Naturalia Retreat Center in advance of any relevant medical or psychological conditions.
Personal Responsibility: Participation is voluntary. Participants accept full responsibility for their physical, emotional, and psychological well-being before, during, and after the retreat. Naturalia Retreat Center, its facilitators, and staff are not liable for injury, loss, or damages arising from participation.
Medical Advice: Naturalia Retreat Center does not provide medical advice or treatment. Retreats and ceremonies are not a substitute for professional medical or psychological care. Participants with serious conditions should consult a qualified professional before booking.
Substances & Medication: Guests must disclose prescription medication, recreational drug, or supplement use prior to arrival, as certain substances may be contraindicated with traditional Amazonian medicines. Failure to disclose may result in exclusion from ceremonies or the retreat without refund.
Safety: Ceremonies are conducted by qualified, experienced Shipibo healers (maestros), assisted by trained facilitators, following strict safety and ethical standards.
Travel & Insurance: Participants are responsible for obtaining travel and medical insurance covering accidents, illness, loss of property, and retreat cancellation.
Respect for the Space and Community: Participants must respect the environment, staff, local communities, and the guidelines/dietas established by the center.

General Terms

Acceptance of Terms: By booking a retreat with Naturalia Retreat Center, participants acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions and the policies referenced herein.
Privacy & Data Protection: Personal information collected during booking is used exclusively for administrative and safety purposes related to the retreat and is never sold or rented to third parties.
Use of Images & Media: Photos and videos taken during retreats may be used for promotional or educational purposes unless a participant requests otherwise in writing before or during the retreat.
Code of Conduct: Naturalia Retreat Center reserves the right to refuse participation or dismiss any guest whose behavior is disrespectful, unsafe, or disruptive, without refund.
Force Majeure: In cases of force majeure (e.g., natural disasters, political unrest, pandemics, government restrictions), Naturalia Retreat Center will offer participants the option to reschedule within 12 months or receive a full refund of their deposit. Naturalia Retreat Center is not liable for additional costs or losses (e.g., flights, accommodation, or other travel expenses outside the retreat).
Jurisdiction: These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Peru, and disputes shall be resolved in accordance with Peruvian jurisdiction.
